We teach in a way that is easy to understand and allows you to learn at your own pace. Wayne provides good, clear, correct information along with interesting and creative ideas for all levels. As you learn, you can play the songs you like to listen to the most. At each lesson, you will take home new ideas and challenges to improve your playing technique.

While working on song transcriptions, help is always given in relation to understanding the theory of the song. Intermediate to advanced players can bring any playing material of interest to the lesson. We'll give advice and ideas to help enhance your playing, as well as written notes that will be helpful in the learning process. You can even video sections of interest in the lesson that will help support your practice time, by replaying again at home. 

Lessons are kept interesting and students can learn easily in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Our studio is conveniently accessible from all suburbs in the Wollongong/Illawarra region. During lesson time, we offer amplifiers and leads, if you need to use them, written music (in tab or notation), a music stand, and informative notes applicable to the content of your lesson. At Doblix Guitar & Bass Tuition, we’ll instruct you in tab (tabulation) or notation form in addition to teaching you how to transcribe songs. We’ll also help you understand the inner workings of songs and how they should be played.
